Please reach us at Info@medicalpatientexpereinces.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
To submit your video, simply click on the "Share Your Experience" button above. This will open up an email. Once there, you can download a prerecorded video or create your video using the email camera. If your video is long, you will need to upload it to OneDrive. Don't worry, it's just a click of a button! Be patient as it sometimes takes a while to upload a longer video. Once you submit your video, MPE will review it's content to make sure that the video conforms to our standards. After that, the video will be uploaded to our YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@MedicalPatientExpereinces
All videos should be titled by a simplified name of the procedure. Examples: Knee Surgery, Cesarean Section, Hip Replacement, etc. Please do not include details of the specifics of the procedure. If you are giving "Tips and Tricks," simply name the procedure and add Tips and Tricks (Hip Replacement Tips and Tricks). This will help people search for the right video for them!
All videos should tell about your experience with a medical procedure. You can tell how you were diagnosed; how you dealt with the diagnosis; what the procedure was like before, during, and after; and any tips or tricks you may have. It's your story!
Do not give the name of the physician unless it is to praise performance.
Do not offer advice. Just tell your story and let the viewer do the rest!
The length of the video is entirely up to you! We recommend keeping videos between 5-15 minute if you are describing the events of your procedure. You can also give us "Tips and Tricks" which are 30-90 second videos with some things you did to help you through your process.
